Yummy supper with Trina

Howdy!

What a treat! Trina had a business trip to Houston and we were able to meet up on Tuesday evening for a yummy supper. It was so good to see her and catch up!

We had a blast taking turns riding Big Bertha on the lake. Matt had a great ride; his dad never managing to knock him off of Big Bertha.

We had a successful time fishing at Lake Sam Rayburn with Matt's mom and dad and our niece, Hope.

We caught 10 decent-size catfish (Matt and his dad caught 4 each and I caught 2) The fish made for a delicious supper of fried fish, hushpuppies, and seasoned crinkle fries. Yum!

On Sunday, August 29, Matt and I, mom and dad Strother, and Hope had a fun-filled day at sam Rayburn lake. We all had fun riding Big Bertha and fishing!

We had a delightful tea and apple pie with Mimi Kent at her home in Newton,TX.

Fun at Chili's with the Strother family

What a fun way to celebrate Taylar's birthday! Me and Mom, Dad, Hope,
and Spence, Joshelyn, Skylar, taylar, kaelyn, connor, and Madilyn
(cousin) went to a Nick Jr event with Dora the explorer and friends.
After the entertaining show, we all went to eat at Chili's. Yum!! The
balloon lady made fun characters for the girls!

Wow! The refreshing rain in Lubbock throughout the month of July
helped encourage a beatiful salmon colored (Lanette's favorite color)
gladiola to emerge and bloom! Gorgeous!

Praise the Lord, the maker of all things in heaven and on earth.

Yummy supper with Lanette at Bryan's steakhouse

What a treat! Lanette treated me to supper at Bryan's Steakhouse. We
are praying for a safe and successful laser eye surgery for Lanette
tomorrow (Thurs Aug 12).
