While in San Francisco, Matt and I toured a shipyard where several
historic ships were docked. Doesn't Matt look like a natural captain?

San Francisco Half-marathon- crossed the finish line! Woohoo!
The weather was perfect for running in San Francisco on dad's birthday (Sunday, July 25). What a wonderful birthday present for dad-- Dad, Mikey, Jen (Mikey's wife), and I crossed the half-marathon finish line in 2 hours and 30 minutes! Jennifer and her friend, Misty, crossed the full marathon finish line in 5 hours and 15 minutes! Woohoo!

Happy Summer to you!

Stef & Matt feeding the Girls
Dad, Grandmommy, matt and I met Aunt Debbie and Uncle Steve for lunch in Sealy on Sunday afternoon. We had a delicious lunch (Mexican food, yum!) and then headed over to Aunt Debbie and Uncle Steve's house. What a fun treat! Matt and I got to feed the cows treats! One cow really took to Matt!
The Raptor
One Saturday in July, we traded in our two wonderful vehicles (Lizzy
and Lightning) and purchased a 2010 Ford F-150 Super Cab (extended
cab). The Raptor seats 5 people comfortably, has many convenient
features (bluetooth, heated seats, dual ac controls) and fits in our
garage (with room to spare!!).

We are praying that this vehicle will be problem and wreck free for
many years to come.

We are so blessed and thankful to God for 8 years problem and wreck
free with our 2002 Ford Lightning. It was a great truck and we pray
that it will be a blessing to the next owner.

Happy 4th of July- with a delicious flag that's homemade and edible!!
Matt and I had a fun time on Saturday creating a delicious edible flag
to celebrate 4th of July! Matt made a yummy sponge cake that he
topped with homemade whipped cream and then Matt and I decorated with
strawberries, blueberries, and white chocolate chips to make an
American flag! Wishing you a very happy and safe 4th of July!
