Lanette's Roses in Full Bloom!

Wow! Some warm sun, refreshing rain, and a little time and Lanette's Rose bush is full of spectacular blooms!! Even the yellow crysanthamum peeking through the irises in the far left corner of the picture is blooming!

Friday lunch with Grandmommy and aunt Debbie!

What a fun way to spend a Friday afternoon. Aunt Debbie, Grandmommy,
and I met for lunch at a local Mexican food restaurant. Good food and
great company! What a blessing to have several family members in the
Houston area; especially as we settle into our new home in Humble!

Howdy!

Matt and I had a wonderful Mother's day dinner (fried fish, hush
puppies, french fries, salad, and lots of yummy pies for dessert!
Yum!). What a blessing it is to live close enough to Jasper to be able
to drive up there and enjoy a delicious meal and afternoon with them
and still be able to drive home and make it to our home before evening!

We were so excited that mimi and pop (pictured below) and uncle frank
and Betsy and spence were able to join matt's parents and me and Matt
for dinner!
